Job Purpose

We are looking to recruit an on-site Residential Engineer based on site in South London.

The role is supporting the day to day operation of comms, fault finding and rectification, support, but mostly carrying out adds moves and changes (MAC), ensuring the users are trouble free in their daily comms usage and general housekeeping of the system.

 

Working week is 9.00am – 5.30pm, Monday - Friday with no on-call requirement.


 This is an on-site role, no car is required, nor is daily travel outside of the location.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:


  • The interrogation of existing telephone setups on the ISDX/Avaya system

  • The programming of the replacement Mitel handset to the agreed template with the organisation

  • Organising with the end users a suitable to time to changeover the handsets

  • Liaise with ICT Network team on activation of data ports (including patching)

  • Maintaining up to date records of deployed equipment

  • Act as onsite support for faults requiring 1st / 2nd line support for Mitel faults

  • Participate in the regular on-site telecoms meeting(s)

  • Offer advice and input when requested by the on-site Telecoms team

  • Be contactable during working hours

  • Work with the existing site staff and its contractors within the scope of the project and maintenance agreement

Person Specification:

Experience (essential)


  • You will be experienced on 3300 platform plus Ops Enterprise Manager, NuPoint and possibly other related applications.

Role competencies required:


  • Good personable manner

  • Fluency in English

  • Possess good written and oral skills

  • Self motivated with the ability to prioritise work load and be methodical with high accuracy at all times.

The Role


You will be responsible for implementing Salesforce for a stand alone company which now sits under a larger parent organization. The objective is to automate the companies many processes with SFDC. These new process solutions will be built in Salesforce to replace the existing ones.

You will also be contributing towards other UK/EU projects and BAU activities.

You


minimum of 4 years solid experience as a Salesforce System Administrator. Experience needs to have been with Enterprise or Unlimited edition within a large company with complex processes.

You will have a proven track record of delivering complex integration projects successfully.

Experience with data migration.

Experience with system integration.

The ability to analyze and understand complex processes and problem solve to rework to provide streamlined end to end solutions.

Familiar with Agile methodologies and delivery of project items within short 2 week sprints.

Self Starter, ability to work independently.

Has excellent communication skills, outgoing and confident with liaising with Stakeholders at all levels.

Extensive administration and configuration experience, including:

 Understanding of SFDC profiles, roles, queues and sharing rules, validation rules, tasks, workflow rules, approval processes.

Report/ Dashboard building to measure performance and aid migration.
 
Experience with either Apex Data Loader or Demand Tools.
